A magnitude 4.5 earthquake rocked parts of Laguna, Batangas and Cavite at 9:18 in the morning on Wednesday but there was no report of damage, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Intensity 4 was felt in Los Baños and Alaminos, Laguna as well as Malvar and Tanauan City in Batangas.
Lipa, San Rafael and Santo Tomas, Batangas were also affected, recording an Intensity 3.
Meanwhile, Intensity 2 was reported in Cuenca, Batangas.
Tagaytay City in Cavite recorded an Intensity 2 earthquake.
The quake’s epicenter was located 3 kilometers northwest of Los Baños, Laguna with a depth of 10 kilometers.
According to Phivolcs, aftershocks are not expected from the quake.
