It’s time for South Africa!

One great thing about being the UAE is its strategic location. For travellers, being based in this country means being in the gateway to seeing the best places in the world—from the oriental magnificence of the East, to the sophisticated splendour of the west, down to the exotic beauty of Africa.

And speaking of exotic, we believe it’s about time we finally put a spotlight on a country so unique yet so easy to reach from the UAE—South Africa. Check out some of the places to see and things to do in this gorgeous country!

Cape Town
Dubbed as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Cape Town offers so many spots that seem to be taken out of a postcard! You can see stunning views of both the city and the ocean from the Table Mountain, get amazing shopping deals and great entertainment at Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, check out the colourful houses of Bo-Kaap, drive along the Hout Bay, and party all night at Long Street.

Kalk Bay
One place in South Africa that has a rich Filipino heritage is this small fishing village outside Cape Town. In the 1800s, the first Filipinos settled in this place, where they built the famous James Catholic Church. There’s also a cemetery here dedicated only to Filipino residents.

Kruger National Park
If you want to see the raw African beauty of this country, check out Kruger National Park. It offers exciting game drives not lets you see the world’s most exotic and amazing wildlife species. After interacting with these animals, take a scenic drive to the world’s largest green canyon—the Blyde River Canyon.
