Bea Alonzo has met up with the family of the late Mico Palanco, who died last December 9.
The Kapamilya actress was seen in a photo posted by her handler Monch Navales on Intagram. In the photo were Palanca’s mother and two sisters.
The late actor is the first boyfriend of Alonzo. They were in a relationship for four years before they broke up in 2008.
Before this meeting, she also sent flowers to his wake as seen on Instagram stories posted by the actor’s sister Erika Hocson.
The arrangement of white flowers had a message of condolences to Palanca’s family. It read, “Prayers & Deepest Sympathies From Bea Alonzo.”
According to reports, the 41-year-old actor jumped to his death from a residential area in Santolan Town, San Juan. Based on the initial information of the report, he was suffering from depression.
His family asked for privacy and prayers for his untimely death.
Mico is the younger brother of former Hunks member Bernard Palanca. He comes from a family of artists. His maternal grandfather, Armando Goyena, was also an actor and matinee idol during the 1950s.
He entered the showbiz industry when he became a member of Star Circle back in 1999. He was known for his roles in the 90s weekly-oriented show “Tabing Ilog”, “Bituing walang ningning” (2006), “Pangako sa ‘yo” (2000) and “Yamashita: The Tiger’s Treasure” (2001).
