Actor Paolo Avelino revealed plans to take a break from show business next year to rest and focus on himself.
The actor cited his continuous projects as the main reason for his decision to take a break.
“Currently may ginagawang serye pero siguro after this year pahinga muna akong matagal-tagal, 5 years, 10 years,” he jokingly said.
“Ang dami ko pang gustong gawin. Dire-diretso trabaho ko. Tao lang din tayo, nabu-burn out din tayo. Basta pahinga muna after this year.”
Avelino filmed the movie ‘Kasal’ with Bea Alonzo and Derek Ramsay while still doing ‘Goyo’, a movie that tells the story of national hero Gregorio del Pilar.
Aside from these big screen projects, he is also part of the ABS-CBN TV series “Asintado.”
In December, Avelino played a major role in the Metro Manila Film Festival movie “Ang Larawan,” which was based on Nick Joaquin’s “A Portrait of the Artist as Filipino.”
