LuLu Exchange has ranked second on Forbes’ latest list of Top Exchange Houses in the Middle East.
The list checked several conditions to arrive at the rankings, which include average monthly remittances, number of branches, services offered by the exchange house, and the age of the company.
They also looked into the exchange house’s recent innovative initiatives, geographical expansions, and other notable points.
Despite barely being over 12 years in service from 2008, LuLu Exchange landed the top spot with the most number of branches, with more exchange houses planned in the coming years.
In the UAE, 73 LuLu Exchange branches are available to serve almost 90% of the country’s total population comprised of expats. Over 180+ more are available worldwide – serving no less than 8.4 million customers around the world.
Apart from assisting expats with their remittances, LuLu Exchange also provides several more services for all clients including currency exchange, wage and salary administration, currency import and exports, and other value-added services.
The UAE-based exchange house has also launched their app – LuLu Money, that helps customers skip lines at the actual exchange house and enables them to transfer and remit money towards their home country in just a few taps on their smartphone.
