The Original La Paz Batchoy is now open at Al Rigga Deira, Dubai and it’s more than what you think. It’s the first in the whole United Arab Emirates.
Hundreds of customers waited at the façade to witness the grand opening of La Paz Batchoy, August 29, and experienced the Filipino atmosphere from the fiesta- ike theme. From the music banged, and majorettes dashed with moves by The Philippine School, Dubai Drum and Lyre, Franz with the LP Angels and The Mystery Pocket Band talents, all customers were delighted by the colorful opening headed by different Pinoy social media influencers.
Also present during the opening were Georgia Fritada of Tag 91.1, Mr. Gab Rimando, President of Filipino Institute, Mr. Antonio Mutuc Jr. POLO Supervising O cer and Actor and Entrepreneur Mr. Charles Christianson.
Craving more from Filipino taste, La Paz Batchoy offers a variety of meals, aside from its trademark Batchoy- the noodle soup made from chicken stock, round noodles, beef loin, and tasty ingredients. It also offers Beef adobo, Sizzling sisig, Sinigang mixed seafood, Beef broccoli, Inihaw na boneless bangus, and Chicken sisig.
The original recipe of La Paz Batchoy came from the district of La Paz in the province of Iloilo. ‘Batchoy’ comes from the Chinese word ‘Bac Qui’, meaning, small pieces of meat.
The successful exploration of the UAE market by the management made La Paz Batchoy possible. Two of its cooks came from Saudi Arabia branch to properly prepare the taste of La Paz Batchoy in the UAE.
“We are also planning to expand the La Paz Batchoy into five more branches. UAE is a good market since many Filipinos are here, who might be missing the taste of Philippine home thru Batchoy,” Adel Al Dulaim, Vice President of La Paz Batchoy said.
