A distracted driver caused a multiple-vehicle collision on a busy highway in Abu Dhabi.
In a tweet on Friday, Abu Dhabi Police shared the footage of the incident where a speeding SUV slammed into multiple cars.

In the video the vehicle was speedily approaching a traffic jam then it collided with at least five vehicles before slipping to the other side of the road.
The driver was fined AED 800 and four black points.

The video was released in coordination with Abu Dhabi Monitoring and Control Centre as part of its ‘Be Road Safe’ campaign and ‘Your Comment’ initiative to remind drivers about dangers of distracted driving. (RA)
