Saudi resident accuses water company of ignoring customer complaint

A resident in Saudi Arabia has complained about the blatant snubbing of his area’s water company regarding his concern about the sewage water coming to his house, Al-Madina daily reported.

Ahmed Bin Mohammed Salim Al-Ahmedi, a resident of Naba Al-Khair District on Al-Haj Street in Makkah, said that he had repeatedly asked National Water Company (NWC) to fix the sewage water coming to his house from the sewage water tank of his neighbour. However, he said that the company has been ignoring his concern for two years.

He added that he has registered the complaint many times with the department of connections, but no clear response has been given to him.

In a separate report by Saudi Gazette, the company’s director Awad Al-Qahtani said there was no sewage draining system in the area, a reason the company could not fix Al-Ahmedi’s problem. He just advised him to regularly clean his water tank so reduce the sewage water coming in.
