Every girl dreams of feeling like a princess on their wedding day. For many, it is a once in a lifetime experience so it is the time to either go big or go home, and one way for them to channel their inner princess is to wear the right dress on that day.
For these celebrities, they were able to achieve such with a little help from the creative mind of Dubai-based Filipino couturier Michael Cinco.
1. Marian Rivera
When A-list celebrity couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes got married on December 2014, it was the only thing that people talked about.
On her wedding day, Rivera wore a Michael Cinco dress made with French lace and studded with Swarovski crystals. The flower motifs of the dress are made of laser-cut velvet and organza, Cinco wrote on Instagram.
Rivera and Dantes also had a pre-nuptial photoshoot which was taken in Dubai in 2014 wherein the then bride-to-be wore creations of the Dubai-based Filipino designer.
2. Dra. Vicky Belo
Dra. Vicky Belo definitely had a Cinderella moment when she tied the knot with Dr. Hayden Kho in Paris last year.
During the ceremony, Belo wore a couture blush wedding gown that has a three-meter long train made of French lace.
The piece was embroidered with transparent and rose opal Swarovski crystals.
Vicky also wore a Michael Cinco during her photoshoot at the Ritz Hotel in Paris for Tatler Magazine. She posed alongside her husband while wearing a form-fitting fully-beaded gown with gold details and a cape.
3. Rochelle Pangilinan
Former Sex Bomb Girls leader Rochelle Pangilinan, got married after eight years of dating long-time boyfriend Arthur Solinap.
On her wedding day, Pangilinan dazzled guests as she walked down the aisle wearing a Michael Cinco creation.
The Dubai-based designer created Pangilinan’s couture mermaid dress that came with a three-meter, embroidered and Swarovski-studded cape. No detail was left unchecked as Cinco’s skillful employees carefully hand-weaved Swarovski crystals onto the long embroidered cape.
4. Victoria Swarovski
Michael Cinco is known for his magnificent ball gowns completely studded with Swarovski-crystal.
So when the heiress of the famous Austrian fashion and jewelry brand, Victoria Swarovski, got married to her real estate investor fiancé Wener Mürz in Italy, it is no longer a shock that she wore a Michael Cinco creation.
Swarovski’s gown, which was made of delicate French lace, had a 20-foot detachable train and a nude top completely covered in half a million Swarovski crystals.
Her Michael Cinco wedding gown is considered to be one of the most expensive wedding dresses in the world which reportedly cost at least $1 million.
