A video of an Arab man speaking Filipino is making the rounds on social media.
In a video, the man gamely answered an overseas Filipino worker’s queries like a Tagalog native speaker. He revealed that he sells gold in a store in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
When asked how he learned to speak the language fluently, the Arab man explained that he has many Pinoy friends who teaches him some Filipino words.
“Bakit magaling kang mag-Tagalog,” the OFW asked.
The Arab man said,”Maraming kababayang kaibigan.”
The Arab even joked around and claimed he is a Filipino at heart, too, who lives in Quiapo, Manila.
He not only responds with single words but in full sentences.
