Angel Locsin has brought a senior citizen couple to tears after surprising them with a refurbished home and a new sari-sari store.
Tatay Jimmy and Nanay Emilia had always dreamed of painting their tiny house in Morong, Rizal as well as buying a dining table and chairs so they could eat together. However, the lockdown measures placed on the country due to coronavirus disease (COVID-19) had made it almost impossible for the couple to make it into reality.
The couple was featured in the recent episode of “Iba Yan,” aired on the Kapamilya Channel and streamed online, wherein Angel Locsin and her team painted their home, bought them new furniture—including the dining set—as well as built them their own sari-sari store.
“Hindi ako makapaniwala sa mga nangyari sa buhay natin,” said an emotional Nanay Emilia as she is hugged by her husband, whose video has since went viral on social media—with over 3 million views as of this writing.
