English singer Sam Smith was mesmerized upon seeing the video of a Filipino boy singing his ‘Too Good at Goodbyes’ hit in a karaoke store in a shopping mall.
“WHO IS THIS KID!!!!!? YOU ARE OUT OF THIS UNIVERSE WHOEVER YOU ARE 
,” Smith wrote on Twitter.
The singer’s tweet then garnered hundreds of thousands of likes and shares with the video getting over 4 million views on Twitter.

The Filipino boy was identified as Carl Malone Montecido, a blind boy from Bacolod City.
Montecido has been through several national singing competitions like Pilipinas Got Talent and Tawag ng Tangahalan where he was hailed as one of the finalists.
