Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards has temporarily closed his business to repurpose it as a donation center for the victims of the phreatic eruption of Taal Volcano.
Concha’s Garden restaurant in Tagaytay City became a donation house for the meantime as a way for the actor to conduct relief operations for the residents.
According to Inquirer Bandera, Richards is known for his low-key approach in helping others.
The actor currently stars in GMA’s drama series, ‘The Gift’ along with actors Jean Garcia, Jo Berry, and Elizabeth Oropesa.
The province of Cavite was also placed under the state of calamity, which is included under the 14-kilometer danger zone.
The active volcano is still on Alert Level 4 despite its ‘steady steam emission’, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said on Friday.
