Filipino international blockbuster film “Hello, Love, Goodbye” makes another historic mark in the UAE as the first-ever Filipino film to be screened at the Dubai Opera.
Tickets to the screening happening on August 25 are now available at the official website of Dubai Opera with tickets starting from Dh 60: Dubai Opera screens Hello, Love, Goodbye
The film’s lead stars, Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards invite Filipinos and fans of the movie from other nationalities to join the screening at what’s now known as ‘the most prestigious square kilometre in the world’ in Downtown Dubai.
Richards shared the good news in a video posted at The Filipino Channel Middle East: “Isa magandang balita po – on August 25, Hello Love Goodbye will premiere sa Dubai Opera po – this is the first ever Filipino film po na ipapalabas sa Dubai Opera and we’re very fortunate na kinuha tayo para maipalabas ang Hello Love Goodbye. Anyone can go po kung gusto niyo pong mapanood muli.
Bernardo wishes to thank all of the fans who welcomed the Hello Love Goodbye team for their support during their brief stay in the UAE: “Hello po sa mga Kapuso at Kapamilya natin dyan sa Middle East. On behalf of the Hello Love Goodbye team, sa amin po ni Alden, direk Cathy, miss Carmie, lahat ng cast, si Inang, Star Cinema – maraming salamat po sa mainit ninyong pagtanggap sa Hello, Love, Goodbye,” said Bernardo.
Latest reports stated that the movie by blockbuster director Cathy Garcia-Molina has already earned Php603, 015,830 in local cinemas with additional worldwide box office sales reaching $2 million as of August 16.
The film was also the first Filipino movie to be shown in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
