Actress Julia Barretto addresses the issue that she left her ex-boyfriend and former love team Joshua Garcia alone after their ASAP show in San Francisco.
This in response to a story posted on Twitter by ABS-CBN music head Roxy Liquigan saying Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla saved Garcia from eating alone and went to his table.
“In fairness talaga Kay Kath and djp, Ng Makita nila si Joshua na kumakain Ng mag Isa dito sa after party, talagang lumipat sila Ng table at tinabihan si joshua. :),” Liquigan said.
Garcia performed with Barretto during the show as ‘JoshLia’ and netizens are quick to call out the actress for leaving Garcia.
“I did not leave Joshua alone. He opted & requested to be left alone. He asked to eat & mingle alone. Why are all these fingers being pointed at me YET AGAIN? Bakit nanaman siya kawawa sa naging choice and decision niya, and bakit kasalanan ko pa to? Wala kumakawawa sa kanya,” Barretto said in a tweet.
The actress added that people are trying to sensationalize Garcia’s situation.
“Masyado nag-eenjoy tao gawin kawawa si Joshua sa lahat ng bagay, kahit wala na connection sa kahit na ano. May magawa lang na story. Trust me, the guy is ok. He enjoyed himself last night. Wala sila lahat alam. Wait lang kayo,” Barretto said.
Barretto and Garcia confirmed their break up last month and revealed that they are now back to ‘bestfriend status’.
She has been romantically linked to actor Gerald Anderson after Bea Alonzo accused him of cheating.
