Veronica “Kitty” Duterte has found an ally in Kris Aquino after the latter called out those behind the exposé video involving the presidential daughter in the alleged big-time illegal trade of her brother Paolo Duterte.
To recall, there is a series of videos titled “Ang Totoong Narcolist” circulating online wherein a certain “Bikoy” claims that he is a former drug syndicate member and that he has evidence of the involvement of President Duterte’s family members in the illegal trade.
In the first episode, he tagged the president’s eldest son Paolo Duterte as one of the principals of the drug syndicate.
A few days after the second episode was released wherein it was mentioned that Honeylet Avanceña and Kitty also have involvement in the drug trade.
Aquino took to social media to ask the people behind the controversial videos to spare Kitty from the allegations.
“Leave Kitty alone. She isn’t an adult. She is not fair game. She will only be turning 15 this April,” she said.
“Connecting the money trail to Ms. Honeylet, using ‘Veronica Salvador’ was too WEIRD, primarily because WALANG NANAY na gagamitin ang pangalan ng kanyang nagiisang anak para malagay ang bata sa kapahamakan,” she added.
Aquino added that her sentiments have no political intentions. She only said that she doesn’t want a minor to get involved in such a controversial matter.
“This wasn’t about politics, regardless that Kris Aquino is posting about Ms. Honeylet and Kitty Duterte. Tungkol ito sa pagiging DISENTE at sa pag RESPETO sa mga KARAPATAN ng mga menor de edad, na dahil sa pulitika nalilimutan na,” she said.
Aquino, however, has since deleted the said post. But netizens were able to get a short screen of her post.
It is not yet known where the videos came from but Senator Antonio Trillanes IV had been accused by Paolo as the mastermind behind the series. Trillanes has since denied the allegation.
President Duterte has also dismissed the said videos saying that it is “propaganda” from the opposition.
