Steve Dailisan was already one of the most well-known news anchors in GMA-7 when he decided to leave his job to pursue a career in aviation, and he just keeps getting closer and closer to reaching his dreams everyday.
Through a Twitter post dated April 3, Dailisan revealed that he finally got his official commercial pilot license.
The former GMA reporter posted photos of him receiving his shoulder badges and his pilot wings pin.
“Officially Licensed Commercial Pilot! Thank you, Lord!” Steve captioned the photos, adding a series of hashtags including #takeoff #pinoypilot #journalistpilot #pinoyaviator #cplholder #humbled #leiaai.

According to WCC Aviation Company, a commercial pilot license or CPL “serves as a ticket to get a job, and get paid as a pilot.”
It can be recalled that Dailisan, who became a popular reporter thanks to his signature extro (Steeeeeeve Dailisan), resigned from his job in the Kapuso network to become a pilot in February 2018.
He shared on Facebook back in October 2018 that becoming a pilot has always been his childhood dream and that he believes that it is his true purpose in life.
