Isha Ambani, the daughter of India’s wealthiest man, Mukesh Ambani, tied the knot to businessman Anand Piramal in an utterly grand wedding ceremony that featured star-studded guests, chartered jets, a phone app dedicated for the event, and a private Beyonce concert.
Yes, you read that right! The event was so luxurious that the Ambanis even hired American music icon Beyonce to perform and hold a private concert during the celebration.
The Grammy-award winning singer even posted on her Instagram several photos of her performance in Isha and Anand’s pre-wedding celebrations.

As if the presence of Beyonce were not enough, they also invited actress and former Miss World titleholder Aishwarya Rai, along with other Bollywood superstars to perform songs and dance numbers at the couple’s Sangeet.
The festivities were also attended by some of well-known personalities like American politician Hillary Clinton, author-businesswoman Ariana Huffington, and Hollywood newlywed couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas.
Still not convinced about the grandeur of the wedding? Well, the Ambanis also chartered private jets to transport their wedding guests to the venue. Not cars nor shuttles, but private jets that will offer free flights for guests to the event.
Aside from that, the Ambanis also had a phone app developed. While ordinary couples would just give out invitations, the Ambanis took it to the next level and built an app that guests can install in their phones. Guests can use the app if they have questions about the event, location of the venue, the dress code, or anything else related to the wedding.
It is no wonder why the Ambanis can afford such since Mukesh Ambani is considered to be the wealthiest man in India with an estimated net worth of $47 billion or around P2.4 trillion.
The 61-year-old business magnate is the chairman, managing director, and the largest shareholder of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), a Fortune Global 500 company and India’s most valuable company by its market value.
Meanwhile, Isha Ambani, the bride, is also a businesswoman herself who studied Psychology and Indian studies at Yale University. She has an estimated net worth of $660 million. In 2008, she ranked 2nd on the Forbes’ Youngest Billionaire Heiresses list. Isha also made the list of the 12 powerful upcoming businesswomen in Asia in 2015.
