Actress Andi Eigenmann responded to a netizen who said that her simple life in the province is not true.
It all started when another netizen commented on one of Eigenmann’s post praising the 28-year-old actress for her decision to give up most of her luxuries.
However, one critic replied in the comment that the actress just moved to a small town but still lives an upper-class life.
“Define simpleng buhay. Of course, she still [has] all the perks in life – big house, yaya, cook, etc. The only thing she’s living in a small town away from the metropolis,” the basher wrote.
Eigenmann was quick to respond by insisting that she and her daughter, Ellie, settled for an ordinary provincial life without a household helper.
“Not that you need to be informed but the point is that – I sold everything. And no. Ellie and I don’t have help around the house. It’s just the two of us.”
It can be recalled that Eigenmann took a hiatus from the show business last year saying that she felt unhappy with being an actress. She took a break from the city life and decided to move to Baler to start a new life.
Currently, she is renting a place in Baler while her house in the province is still under construction.
“Simple lang po talaga, maliit lang siya na bahay pero malaki lang yung garden. Ako na siguro yung magpa-plant ng sarili kong vegetables,” PEP.ph quoted Eigenmann as saying.
The actress also said that she would take public transportation from Baler, Aurora to Manila whenever she has work commitments.
