Many netizens were not pleased with Filipino fans aggressively interacting with Korean actor and model Nam Joo Hyuk when he visited the Philippines.
Nam visited the country last week, together with fellow Korean superstar, Sandara Park, for a fan convention organized by Penshoppe, a local clothing brand which they both endorse.
During the said convention, Nam and Park posed for photo with their Filipino fans, but some of them got a little too excited upon meeting their idols.
The hosts and security team of the event repeatedly reminded the fans not to get too close to the Korean personalities but they were left ignored.
As seen in a video circulating on social media, there were some fans who grabbed Nam’s waist and arm and clutched to him throughout the photo op.
Nam also looked uncomfortable in the video.
Fans should know when it's too much already. Nam Joo Hyuk didn't look that happy. : (#PenshoppeFanCon#DaraAndJooHyukforPenshoppepic.twitter.com/HPVptLYqvb
