A GMA actress is recently making the rounds on social media after purchasing a five-bedroom house in West Covina, California, USA.
According to an article on PEP, Kris Bernal said that the house she bought is a fulfillment of her mother Analyn Tan’s “long-time dream”.
“It was more of a vacation house where we can stay for long if we need another space or atmosphere from the daily grinds of work.
“Since my sister moved to the U.S. more than two years [ago] to pursue her work as an RN [registered nurse], my mom convinced me to invest in a house there,” Bernal told PEP in an Instagram chat interview.
Bernal said that she decided to purchase a house, since it will increase in value compared to putting the money in the bank.
“Sabi niya, mas mataas pa tumaas iyong value ng house sa U.S. than putting my money in the bank. I adhered to her advice.
“So last year, I asked my sister to look for a house, and after more than eight months of house hunting, we all finally agree to buy that house in West Covina.
“We bought it in April 2018. We thank God for this wonderful blessing. It was a good buy kasi ngayon, medyo tumaas na iyong value nong house,” she said.
The house measures a lot size of 3,750 square feet and a floor area of 2,022 square feet.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Bernal thanked her family, her fans, and God for their help and contributions when she was buying the house.
