Former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach recently posted on her Instagram account a clip from her music video feature on singer Massari’s song is called “So Long.” And while it seems like a normal promotional move, the timing of the upload makes fans speculate regarding the current status of her relationship with boyfriend Marlon Stockinger.
The song, which is sung from the male point of view has parts of its lyrics that go, “So long, so long, I got to be moving on…it hurts cause our love is strong.”
The words could easily be applicable to Wurtzbach and Stockinger’s situation shall the two decided to call it quits.
The video was originally posted in Massari’s VEVO channel on YouTube a week ago while Pia promoted it with a photo from the video shoot right around the same time.
It’s only now, however, that she posted a portion of the video on her Instagram which made not a few wonder if she was trying to hint at something in light of recent developments.
Last Friday, after weeks of speculations about Stockinger fathering twins, the pro racer’s former girlfriend, Kit Barraquias, came out and confirmed the rumor. Since then, neither Wurtzbach nor Stockinger has directly addressed the issue.
Earlier last month when Wurtzbach was asked regarding the then-unconfirmed news, she sounded defensive of her beau saying, “Are you sure it’s the same Marlon? There are a lot of Marlons…I don’t know anything about that,” as quoted by some reporters
As for Stockinger, followers of the athlete shares that he has been posting Instagram Stories suggesting that she and Pia are still together including a recent re-post of Pia’s own Instagram Story about a burger challenge cook-off between her and her sister Sarah.
Wurtzbach and Stockinger made their relationship public early this year after months of dating but things have only become official when the two appeared together in a pre-taped episode of “Gandang Gabi, Vice” that aired Sunday night.
