Aquino, who is currently in Los Angeles, California, shared screen grabs of the article published on Teen Vogue’s website wherein her character was introduced.
The report said she will be playing a Malay princess named Intan who was described as ‘snobbish’.

Aquino also took to Instagram to share a photo which reads “Intan”. The said photo further reveals that Aquino’s name in the movie means “diamond” in Malay and Indonesian.
In a separate Instagram post, Aquino expressed her excitement after Kevin Kwan described her role as the “highlight of the movie”.
“I was grateful to watch and hear all the generous words to describe me Mr. Curtis Chin used, but to actually view Kevin Kwan answer in reference to me, “she’s a highlight of the movie, for me, she’s a highlight,” what more could a girl who only dreamed of this say but thank you, Kevin, for the affirmation,” she said in the post.
