KC Concepcion revealed that she is now friends with former lover Kapamilya leading man Piolo Pascual.
However, she said in an interview with writer G3 Santiago, “I regret that we had to end. I think that in any relationship, you really have faith in it and you go into it not thinking that you want to end it. You go into it thinking that you want it.”
The actress stressed this when she was asked if she ever had regrets in giving the controversial “The Buzz” interview in 2011. In that interview, she broke her silence about their breakup.
She said she only took the courage to announce it because she needed to inform their fans and endorsers that they were no longer together.
“I couldn’t keep it anymore. I had to tell it to our fans and to different brands that I can’t do our projects together anymore,” she said.
Meanwhile, KC said that she and Piolo were already in a relationship before they officially announced it.
“We were talaga a few months before it had been announced and then there was a sort of breakup before the announcement on TV,” KC shared.
KC added that what she and Piolo had was real. “It was real. I was so young and naive back then,” she said.
They ex-couple starred in the Philippine remake of hit Korean drama “Lovers in Paris”.
