Palace mourns the death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant

Malacañang expressed its sadness over the tragic news of the death of NBA superstar and legend Kobe Bryant together with his daughter in a helicopter crash.
Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said that Bryant was a frequent visitor to the country.
“Mr. Bryant was a frequent visitor in the Philippines. He was well-loved by his Filipino fans,” the statement said.
Panelo said that Bryant was a sight to behold with his dexterity and accuracy in sinking that ball in the ring.
“He was a master of his craft. The basketball world has lost one of its legendary greats,” the statement added.
The Palace extended its deepest condolences to the family, friends, colleagues, loved ones and fans around the globe who Kobe left behind.
