Kobe Bryant dies from a helicopter crash

NBA player Kobe Bryant has died from a helicopter crash in California on January 26, US local media reported.

According to New York Post, the 41-year-old legendary basketball player was among the four people flying over Calabasas in his private chopper when a fire broke out.

The chopper, as per the report of Los Angeles Times, spiraled from the sky and sparked a brush fire as it hit over the hills of the city—making it harder to conduct initial rescue operations.

According to TMZ, there were no survivors and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Bryant was considered one of the best in the players in the history of the NBA, winning five championships for Los Angeles Lakers and making 18 All-Star Games before retiring in 2016.

He starred for two decades with the Los Angeles Lakers, winning five championships and making 18 All-Star Games before hanging up his basketball shoes following the 2016 season.
