Filipino basketball player Kai Sotto reaches a record high for his height.
The 17-year-old basketball player who is currently in the United States to pursue his NBA dream is now at 7 feet and 2 inches. An inch taller from his previous height.
East-West Private (EWP) in Atlanta posted on Instagram that the official height of the former Ateneo De Manila Blue Eagles player is now 7’2’’.
Experts said that he could still grow taller in the coming years. He already surpassed NBA legend Shaquille O’ Neil who is at 7’1’’.
Sotto is now preparing for his bid to he the first Filipino homegrown player to enter the NBA.
