There is one less reason to be late for your flight schedules at Dubai Airports.
Aiming to provide comforts to its passengers, Dubai Airports Commercial Group unveiled the Sleep ‘n Fly sleeping lounge at the Terminal 3 of Dubai International (DXB) airport.
The Sleep ‘n Fly lounge features 27 sleeping pods—20 “igloo” sleep pods and seven premium double cabins with pull-out children’s beds.
The lounge has a small waiting area for arriving and departing guests and a unisex changing room.
Passengers can rent the sleeping pods for a minimum of one hour up to one night at $17 (Dh64.22) per hour rate for the igloo type and $60 (Dh220.38) per two hours for the cabins.
Eugene Barry, executive vice president at Dubai Airports Commercial Group said, the Sleep ‘n Fly project seeks to offer relaxation options to passengers.
“The opening of Sleep ‘n Fly expands Dubai International’s existing range of rest and relaxation options and is the latest in a line of personalized and engaging products we are rolling out to cater to the evolving needs of global travelers,” Gulf Business quoted Barry as saying.
DXB also has an existing “SnoozeCubes” or the small soundproof cubicles featuring a bed, television, storage and wifi for passengers. Prices start at $21 an hour for a single cube and $28 for a shared cube.
