Vice presidential candidate Tito Sotto said that he could help the next president in addressing the country’s drug problem and concerns of overseas Filipino workers should his win the country’s second top post.
In the COMELEC VP debate last Sunday, Sotto said he wants to focus on boosting the government’s anti-drug campaign through supply and demand reduction strategies.

“Siguro ‘yung DILG at Dangerous Drugs Board would be my expertise. Dito sa problema na ito na sinasabi ko, hindi lang puwede ang supply-reduction strategy na ginagawa ng administrasyon. Kailangan palakasin mo ang prevention and rehabilitation which is part of the demand reduction strategy,” he said.
He also said that he could also help in foreign affairs issues and even on matters concerning OFWs.
