To further strengthen teamwork and camaraderie among its personnel, the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah held a team-building activity on November 22 to 23, 2019.
With the theme “Excellence in Public Service,” the team building included lectures on Client Services by Vice-Consul Lemuel Lopez and Stress Management, Psychosocial Processing and Debriefing for Frontline Personnel by Post’s Social Welfare Attaché Anna Oidem.
The lectures were followed by group activities designed to strengthen trust, camaraderie and cohesiveness among the personnel.
Consul General Ed Badajos said that the team-building activity aims to relieve Jeddah PCG personnel from the high levels of stress they experience from attending to high volumes of Assistance To Nationals (ATN) cases and consular work.
“The team-building activity is a good stress reliever for DFA personnel who are assigned to consular and ATN-heavy posts like the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah. Such fun activities can contribute to our general well-being,” he added.
“Through the team-building activity, we hope our personnel can have work-life balance that would, in turn, help us deliver better public service,” Consul General Badajos stated.
