Dubai’s Burj Khalifa lit up in colors of purple and gold tonight, February 2 as a heartwarming image of Kobe and Gianna Bryant was projected on the world’s tallest tower.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces conveyed his message on the passing of the NBA legend earlier this week.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and chairman of the Dubai Executive Council and his brother His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, chairman of the Dubai Media Council, have both paid tribute to the late basketball legend Kobe Bryant.

The late NBA legend was 41 when he died in a tragic helicopter crash along with his daughter and seven others in Calabasas, Californa a week ago, last January 26.
In the Philippines, a mall in Taguig, as well as Mall of Asia’s Globamaze lit up as well as tribute for Kobe, highlighting his colors from his Los Angeles Lakers team, where Bryant spent his 20-year career.
