A netizen shared photos of volcanic ash taken from the perspective of a microscope.
Danielle Rothaid shared photos of the ashfall from Taal using a microscope on January 13.
“The force of the gasses shatters the magma and propels it into the atmosphere where it solidifies into fragments of volcanic rock and glass,” explains Rothaid on her post.
“Imagine inhaling shattered glass, Keep safe,” Rothaid furthered.
Here’s another look of the volcanic rocks.
Meanwhile, the medical condition meant to describe a lung disease caused by inhaling fine ash and sand dust is called “Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis” or in short silicosis.
Authorities urged the public to always wear their n95 masks especially those who are living near the Taal volcano.
