The Ambiance
California Pizza Kitchen’s Burjuman branch welcomes you with its quaint yet inviting ambiance. This, coupled with their comfortable seats, decent ambient light and of course the cheerful smiles of their staff already makes the meal worth it with the quality of customer service that CPK provides from the moment you enter their doors.
The Food
The servers asked the team how well we would like our beef cooked: Rare, medium or well done? Upon keenly listening to our choices, the wait staff came back within minutes after careful preparation of our meals.
We were greeted with CPK’s signature 6 oz. Angus beef straight off from the grill coupled with our choice of sides –rice pilaf and fresh steamed vegetables. One bite from the beef and you can already determine the premium Angus beef quality with its freshness, tenderness and succulent flavors as you take in more bites of the delicious dish. The sides pair really well with the beef as the pilaf rice gives that salty-sweetness as you dig in on its flavors while the fresh steamed vegetables offer that crisp freshness as if these were taken straight from the farm’s gardens and brought directly to your plate.
The Verdict
For only Dh 39, Filipino and expat diners at CPK’s Burjuman and Dubai Festival City branches will definitely enjoy the premium quality of Angus beef and the quality service that CPK provides at a price point they can easily afford for their lunch right before they jump back to work.
