Former Pinoy Dream Academy finalist Jay-R Siaboc claimed that he has not yet received some of his prizes from the ABS-CBN’s defunct reality singing competition ‘Pinoy Dream Academy’.
On Facebook, the 33-year-old singer posted about the contest in 2006 where he landed as 1st runner up. Singer Yeng Constantino won the contest.
“Nung Nag 1st runner up aq sa PDA (Pinoy Dream Academy) kasama Sana sa premyo (ko) ay Condominium at franchise ng Belgian Waffle, pro sad to say both di q (ko) natanggap ang mga to, di q (ko) alam kung makukuha q (ko) pa ba to,” he said.
The singer added that he’s recalling this now because of the challenges he’s facing in life.
“Pro sana at ngayon nman sa mga kanta q (ko) WLA (wala) na nman aq (ako) natanggap. Sa panahon ngayon na WLA (wala) tayo trabaho di maiwasan maalala ang mga bagay na sa tingin moy dapat sana ay sa iyo. Well Panginoon nalang cguro ang bahala at nkakaalam. God bless & be safe sa lahat!” he said.
Globe Asiatique used to sponsor the housing and condo units for ABS-CBN’s reality show winners. The company and the network has yet to issue their statement.
However, there were also reports that Jay-R was duped by his former manager, who stole his winnings.
