Chito Miranda, vocalist of OPM band Parokya ni Edgar, clarified the issue of a Twitter account who has been using his name on January 5.
The handle has the username @itsmechito_ with a tweet commenting on women’s way of dressing.
Again, this is not me at wala akong kinapamn sa account na yan.

“Again, this is not me at wala akong kinalaman sa account na yan,” he wrote.
“He (or she) is just pretending to be me. Naka-block nga ako sa account na yan eh,” Miranda added.
Fans online asked for the verification of the account under Miranda’s name.
On the same day, he replied to a post of a netizen confirming that he does not run that account.

Although agreeing on the said tweet, the frontman insisted that even the tweet was stolen from others.
