Manila Mayor Isko Moreno couldn’t hold back his tears when the name of the late German Moreno or Kuya Germs was brought up in an interview on DZBB.
In the interview, radio anchor Mike Enriquez told Moreno that Kuya Germs was watching him with a smile.
The mayor then turned emotional and was at lost for words upon hearing the name of the former mentor and star builder.
Isko then recalled his experience when he was still part of Moreno’s That’s Entertainment.
“Kasi mga 200 plus kaming mga bata sa sa That’s Entertainment di ba. Ever since lagi siyang naka-focus sa akin,” Isko said.
Isko first ventured to show business before entering the world of politics.
He used to be a bottle and trash collector in Tondo before Moreno saw his potential as an artist.
Kuya Germs passed away in 2016 due to cardiac arrest.
