For many people, dark underarms can be a source of embarrassment.
Like skin blemishes and discoloration on other parts of the body, dark underarms can result in a lack of confidence and self-esteem that some people keep from dressing in sleeveless tops, wearing bathing suits in public, and participating in special occasions.
But there’s a cheaper and natural way to whiten your dark underarms.
For less than P50, Kapamilya star Bea Alonzo revealed she is using calamansi to whiten dark spots. She said she learned the trick from her mother.
To remove dark spots, squeeze out the fresh juice of calamansi and a dip a small cotton ball into it. Now, apply it on the dark spots of your face, wait for 30 minutes or more and then rinse off with lukewarm water.
“Sobrang effective siya!,” she shared in IG video.
Bea then revealed that her mother Mary Ann also uses eggs, although she has different beauty purposes for the egg white and the yolk.
The egg white, mixed with honey, can be used as a facial mask.
The egg yolk can be used for a DIY hair mask.
Bea said egg yolk has a lot of protein and vitamins that’s good for your hair.
