Netizens can’t help but feel ‘kilig’ over photos of Andres Muhlach and Juliana Gomez going together in a prom party.
Juliana is the only daughter of Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez and Congresswoman Lucy Torres-Gomez, while Andres is the son of Charlene Gonzalez and Aga Muhlach.
Even Juliana’s mother was delighted to see them together. She even teased Andres when he personally went to their house to fetch Juliana.
Lucy said in a video, “Where were you all these years?” referring to Andres.
In an interview with Pep.ph, Lucy narrated that it was Aga who first approached Richard regarding his son’s request.
Lucy said that Andres and Juliana never got the chance to hang out before since they attend different schools but they would see each other at different events and functions.
She also expressed her disbelief that her daughter is now all grown up and attending proms with a young man who asked her out.
“I feel ancient. Can you believe ganito na sila? May prom na?” she said.
Meanwhile, Richard Gomez revealed he had no problem with Andres asking his daughter to be his prom date.
However, when Aga called him to ask permission, he wanted Andres to personally call Juliana.
“Sabi ko naman sa kanya walang problema. Patawagin lang niya si Andres kay Juliana, tapos siya ‘yung magpaalam,” Gomez recalled.
