The first ever Filipino singer to win “The X Factor Romania”, Bella Santiago, has once again showcased her incredible singing prowess during the finals night of Eurovision Romania 2019.
Last Sunday, Santiago was one of the 12 finalists at Eurovision Romania 2019, which is a song competition wherein the winner will represent Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019.
Eurovision Song Contest 2019 is an international competition in which 42 countries from the European Broadcasting Union would send representatives who will compete for the championship.
Santiago dominated the stage with her electrifying performance her song “Army of Love,” which she composed with Alexandru Luft.
At the end of the event, Santiago was declared as the third placer.
Ester Peony was declared as the winner after garnering a total of 65 points from the jury and public vote from television viewers.
Meanwhile, Santiago only received 58 points, 8 of which came from televoters.
The Filipino singer, who was considered as one of the strong contenders, can’t help but question the results of the show.
She said that “many voted for [her] but didn’t receive any confirmation.”
”The judge from Denmark, the winner from 2013, Emmelie (de Forest) didn’t give me any points which shocked everyone in the stadium,” she added.
Nevertheless, she still thanked her supporters by posting on Twitter.
I didnt win Eurovision Contest but i won a lot of fans with love and dedication! Thank you so much ?? i love you all my loves!❤ releasing new single soon! Spain? Are you ready?
