Filipino-American singer Angelica Hale captured the holiday spirit when she belted out a Christmas carol on the U.S. show “Little Big Shots”.
Hale, 11, appeared on the Christmas special of the said show and sang the classic holiday tune “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town”.
The special episode was aired on December 12 (US time) on NBC and a teaser of her performance was uploaded on the show’s Facebook page with the caption: “Angelica Hale is bringing her incredible vocals to the Little Big Shots Holiday Special.”
Hale already appeared on the same show earlier this year and performed Mariah Carey’s version of “I’ll Be There”.
She gained worldwide prominence when she appeared on the 12th season of America’s Got Talent wherein she placed second behind singing ventriloquist Darcy Lynne.
During the course of the said talent show, Hale gave outstanding performances including covers of Alicia Keys’ “Girl On Fire”, Clean Bandit’s “Symphony”, and Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”.
