Former sexy singer Mystica turned to Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes for a television project after comedian Michael V snubbed her plea to include her in his comedy sitcom.
It can be recalled that Mystica posted a Facebook live video wherein she said that she is very much interested in doing a comedy show and appealed to Kapuso comedian Michael V to include her in GMA-7’s “Bubble Gang”. However, she said that she did not hear any response from the Kapuso comedian.
After which, Mystica once again took to social media to call the attention of Dantes to give her a role in his primetime series “Cain at Abel”.
“Kung ayaw ni Michael V na pansinin yung mga panawagan ko for me to continue in pursuing my comedic talent, then mag-switch na lang ako into drama so that I can grow as an actress in terms of doing some dramatic roles. So in connection with this, I am calling the attention of Dingdong Dantes since I have already worked with him before in some TV guestings, as far as variety shows are concerned! Sana matulungan niya akong maipasali sa kanyang kinabibilangang bagong programa called ‘Cain at Abel’,” she said.
Mystica then said that it is better to ask for career opportunities instead of committing illegal acts to gain money.
“Mas masama ang magutom o magnakaw kesa kumatok ng pinto upang makapagtrabaho sa kinagisnan kong trabaho sa mundo ng showbiz,” she said.
“I have gone this far, I am not gonna stop knocking at doors now! So, mga anak at apo, sino ang next kong kakatukin?” Mystica added.
Aside from making an appeal to Dantes, Mystica also thanked the people who have helped her with her showbiz comeback.
Mystica was given a second chance in the entertainment industry after Kapamilya actor Coco Martin gave her a short stint in his show “Ang Probinsyano”. Unfortunately, her character in the said show had to be terminated.
Since then, she has appeared on several episodes and was even able to buy a P1.2 million van from her talent fees.
Mystica’s persistence is remarkable. Let’s hope that she gets the right acting gig and that it truly gives her the second chance she longs for, for good!
