Thai internet sensation Mader Sitang now blacklisted in PH

Thai internet celebrity Mader Sitang, who gained popularity for her hair whipping dance videos on social media, is now considered an “undesirable alien” in the Philippines.

Mader Sitang’s former manager and producer Wilbert Tolentino confirmed on his Facebook account that the Thai social media star is now blacklisted in the country.

“We are thankful at nakita ng Bureau of Immigration na credible ang aking reklamo. We value this official pronouncement of the Bureau of Immigration for it stands for the legitimacy of our grievances,” Tolentino wrote on Facebook.

“I am thanking my legal advisers for their tremendous support & The Philippine Embassy of Thailand who assisted us well. We see this as justice rightly served. I am expressing my [most profound] and sincerest gratitude to all who support us in this fight of our life,’ he added.

It can be recalled that Tolentino filed a petition to declare Mader Sitang persona non grata in the Philippines after he together with a Philippine entourage, went to Thailand to meet with the Mader Sitang who was supposed to sign a five-year managerial contract.

However, the Thai Internet celebrity left them at the airport when she found out that Tolentino does not have the money she asked for which was worth 19.5 million baht or around P31.3 million.

Tolentino also claimed they learned that Mader Sitang is not really a lawyer and did not donate anything to Yolanda victims when they visited the Philippine Embassy in Thailand, contrary to what many netizens know about her.
