Mader Sitang misrepresented herself as lawyer, Yolanda donor, ex-producer’s lawyers claim

Wilbert Tolentino, the former producer and manager of Mader Sitang for her projects in the Philippines, released a statement regarding his encounter with the Thai internet sensation.

It can be recalled that Tolentino, together with a Philippine entourage, went to Thailand to meet with the Mader Sitang who was supposed to sign a five-year managerial contract.

However, the Thai Internet celebrity left them at the airport when she found out that Tolentino does not have the money she asked for which was worth 19.5 million baht or around P31.3 million.

Through a video, Tolentino shared his side of the story and tell what really happened based on his experience.

Upon arrival in Thailand, he narrated that he posted a live video to show Mader Sitang’s fans in the Philippines that the two of them have met once again.

However, Tolentino said that Mader Sitang told him to turn off the Facebook live video so that she can get the money she asked for.

“Pagdating na pagdating namin sa Thailand, nag-Facebook live ako kasi masaya ako na nakita ko siya ulit at para makita ng madalang pipol na for second contract na po ang signing namin… Ang ginawa ko pong kontrata ay pabor kay Mader Sitang, it just so happened na pina-off niya po sa akin yung Facebook live para mag-demand po sa akin ‘yung 20 million baht,” he said.

Tolentino also said that Mader Sitang asked for his passport the night they arrived in Thailand but he refused to surrender it to her because she might not return it and ask money in exchange for his passport.

He said that Mader Sitang got mad because they did not have the money she was asking for. That was when Mader Sitang decided to leave them in the middle of the streets not knowing where to go.

They got to their accommodation on their own, but since they felt unsafe in the area, they decided to move to the city.

Tolentino and his Filipino entourage then went to the Philippine Embassy in Thailand wherein he they found out that Mader Sitang has been fabricating her identity.

The Filipino talent manager claimed that they discovered in the embassy that Mader Sitang is not really a lawyer and did not donate anything to Yolanda victims, contrary to what many netizens think of her.

A Filipino teacher in Thailand named Abet Corteza also shared that he had a bad experience with Mader Sitang.

Corteza said that Mader Sitang defamed his reputation to the point that it has already affected his work as a teacher in Thailand.

In the said video, Tolentino has already sought the help of lawyers and is now taking legal actions regarding the incident.
