Comedian Vice Ganda gave “It’s Showtime” dancer and co-host Jackque Gonzaga a special gift from his Hong Kong vacation.
During the Miss Q and A portion of the ABS-CBN noontime show, Vice Ganda called Gonzaga onto the stage for their usual spiel in the middle of the show.
Vice Ganda and Gonzaga, who is more known as Ate Girl, are known on social media for their funny impromptu banter about their “love story”. They would make up stories on the show about their “relationship” which always draw laughter from the audience members and television viewers.
But aside from their funny conversations and jokes, Vice Ganda asked co-host Jhong Hilario to grab the gift he got for Gonzaga when he went abroad.
Hilario then brought to the stage a large black box with a gold ribbon which bears the logo of the leather luxury goods brand, MCM Worldwide.
Gonzaga then pulled out the item from the box which was a small brown backpack.
“Backpack , para kahit saan ka pumunta, alam mo na I got your back,” Vice Ganda joked.
Gonzaga was then left speechless because of Vice Ganda’s gift but still expressed her gratefulness to the comedian.
According to the MCM Worldwide website, the bag that Vice Ganda gave Gonzaga was the Stark Side Studs Backpack in Visetos.
“Crafted in our signature Visetos with a luxurious faux nappa leather lining, the iconic design features a spacious interior and pyramid stud trim for an edgy finish,” MCM Worldwide wrote on the website about the said bag.
The backpack that Vice Ganda gave Gonzaga retails at $765 or around P40,600, according to the website.
