Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza only has good things to say about Kapamilya actor Coco Martin after she has worked with him for their upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 entry “Jack Em Poy: The Puliscredibles”.
Mendoza said that she had a great time working with Martin and even described the actor as a “gentleman”.
“Marami akong na discover sa kanya kasi first time ko rin to work with him, and sobrang bait niya. Sobrang gentleman niya.
“Nakakatawa kasi hindi niya ako trinato na parang iba kahit bago ako sa showbiz at kahit taga-7 ako,” PEP.ph quoted Mendoza as saying.
Because of her good experience with Martin, Mendoza said that she is looking forward to the possibility of working with other Kapamilya artists in the future.
“Basta kung sino yung hindi ko pa nakakasama, gusto ko rin ma-experience [na makatrabaho]. Lalo na kahit yung mga artista from the other network, para maiba naman,” she added.
Mendoza also revealed that they have finished shooting their MMFF entry which will also star Eat Bulaga pioneer host Vic Sotto.
She said that she is excited to see the finished movie on the big screen as they have worked so hard for it.
“Jack Em Poy: The Puliscredibles” will be hitting Philippine theaters, together with the other seven MMFF entries, on Christmas Day.
