X Factor UK: Filipina makes plea to Cowell after she’s denied visa for Judges’ House

Filipino singer Maria Laroco has proven that she deserves a spot in “The X Factor UK” after her explosive audition and outstanding Six-Chair Challenge performance.

However, she is in a predicament after failing to make it to Simon Cowell’s house due to being denied of a visa in the US, where the Judges’ house is being held.

After the Six-Chair Challenge, the next part of the competition would be the Judges’ House wherein the remaining contestants would go to their mentor’s house and perform in front of musical guests.

Since Laroco is part of the Girls Category, she needs to visit Cowell’s house together with the other female contestants, reported Metro UK.

Cowell decided to fly the contestant in the Girls Category to his house in Los Angeles, California but Laroco was missing from the line-up after she was denied a visa to go to the US.

Due to her absence, Laroco makes a desperate plea to Cowell to keep her in the competition and put her through to the live shows.

She tried to persuade her mentor by sending a video message wherein she thanked Cowell for the opportunity and said that she is hoping that he will give her a chance.

“Hey Simon, thank you so much for the opportunity that you’ve given me. I don’t want this to be my last performance I want to be part of the live shows. So please, please, please Simon, pick me,” she said in the video.

She then went on to sing the song California Dreamin’ by The Mamas and The Papas.

Cowell has not specifically decided if he will keep Laroco in the competition or not, be he said, “I feel really bad for her because she would have thrived in this category.”

During the Judges’ House episodes, Cowell reunited with his ‘American Idol’ family to help him decided who his finalists will be. He will be joined by Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Ryan Seacrest, together with Diane Warren.

The Judges’ House episode will be aired on Sunday, October 7 at 8:00 PM (UK Time).
