Comedian Vice Ganda spoke up about reports saying that Coco Martin will be working with Bossing Vic Sotto for a movie project.
Lionheartv, reported that Martin is promoting to end the network rivalry between ABS-CBN and GMA after he said he would like to work with some actors from the other network.
It was previously reported by PEP that Sotto and Martin are set to work together for a film entry in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF)
There are no reports yet about the details of the movie and who will direct it, but PEP said that it will a “fun and heartwarming” story with the “possibility of a little bit of action”.
It was also reported that Sotto and Martin may co-produce their film.
During the grand finals of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 6, comedian Vice Ganda implied that he will also have an entry for this year’s MMFF when he offered contestant Joven Olvido a role in a movie.
If reports are true, Sotto and Martin will be competing against Vice Ganda during the said film festival.
When asked about the matter, Vice Ganda, who is currently doing a series of shows in the USA, said that he is aware that Martin has been planning on collaborating with Sotto.
Vice Ganda added that he is hoping that he will get the chance to work with Martin again.
“I would love to work with him again. Pero as far as I know, matagal na niyang naplano na tumandem with Bossing. There’s no problem though. That’s normal as actors to work with different artists. We’re still the best of friends,” Lionheartv quoted Vice Ganda.
It was also reported that Director Joyce Bernal will no longer direct Vice Ganda’s film entry in MMFF 2018.
