LOOK: Ai-Ai delas Alas wishes Jiro Manio happy birthday

Comedy Queen Ai Ai delas Alas celebrated the birthday of her “anak-anakan” in the entertainment industry.

As seen in an Instagram post yesterday, May 9, Delas Alas celebrated Jiro Manio’s 26th birthday along with the former child star’s family.

Delas Alas and Manio first worked together in the movie “Ang Tanging Ina” in 2003 where the former played the lead character.

“Happy Birthday, Shammy,” Delas Alas wrote, referring to Manio’s character in Ang Tanging Ina. “Ang aking anak sa pelikula at sa totoong buhay. Happy birthday, nak,” she added.

The Comedy Queen also included in her caption her birthday wish for Manio.

“Wish ko for you makabalik ka na nang tuluyan sa mundo ng showbiz at tuluyan na din ang iyong pagbabago. God bless you more,” Delas Alas wrote.

Delas Alas was also one of the first celebrities who reached out to Manio when he reportedly became homeless in 2015.

Manio first gained prominence and became a household name in the Philippines after his award-winning portrayal of the titular character in the film “Magnifico”.
