Actress Claudine Barretto was rushed to St. Luke’s Medical Center after she fainted and slipped down the stairs.
Barretto said that her super low blood pressure caused the accident, but assured her fans that she is now recovering.
“I had an accident. I slipped and fell down the stairs because of super low blood, my Palanggas. I fainted and fell, but I’m being well taken cared of here at the hospital,” she said on Instagram.
After posting, Barretto’s photo was flooded with comments from fans, expressing their concern for the actress and wishing for her fast recovery.
Barretto also expressed her gratitude to everyone who sent her messages and prayers.
Coincidentally, Barretto’s friend, Bianca Lapus was also at the same hospital at that time. The two had an unexpected catch-up session at St. Luke’s Medical Center.
“We’ve been trying to see each other the past two weeks and unexpectedly, we were rushed at the same time on the same hospital! Hahaha. Thank you for the food even if I don’t have the appetite, for the instant nail salon sesh inside my room, for the bitin kwentuhan, but most of all for taking time out to visit me and not leaving me kahit na you were in pain too. I love you… You are the sweetest!” Lapus wrote on Instagram.
