Filipina Maureen Wroblewitz stunned her doubters as she entered the top 4 of Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 5.
Wroblewitz’s clapped back to other candidates who branded her as “pretty face but with no skills” by winning the best photo citation in the latest episode, which brought her to the competition’s top 4.
As of press time, Wroblewitz has won the best photo citation thrice, which is more than other frontrunners’ best performances in the competition.
In the latest episode, Maureen outshone the other remaining candidates in an ice queen-themed photo shoot while wearing ice skates.
“I’ve learned a lot about myself throughout the competition. But the most important thing I’ve learned is that I never give up,” Wroblewitz said in an Instagram post moments after the latest episode aired.
“I’ll keep fighting no matter what and I’ll be doing this for all of you. I also wanted to thank you all for the amazing support! You mean the world to me!” she added.
Joining Wroblewitz in the top four are Indonesia’s Clara Tan, Malaysia’s Shikin Gomez, and Vietnam’s Minh Tu Nguyen.
Maureen is the only Filipina left in the competition. The other Filipina contestants, Jennica Sanchez and Anjelica Santillan, were eliminated in the first three episodes.
